Because I wanted a distraction, here's the latest random song meme thing. It sadly exposes some of the problems with shuffle with some bands coming up twice before others played at all, but still found some of the responses amusing. Also, annotated because I could.
1. What do your friends say about you? Blitzkrieg Bop, Rob Zombie cover version (not quite sure what to make of this one)
2. How would your coworkers describe you? Pedestal, Portishead (I would hope not)
3. How would you describe yourself? Firewater, BT (hmm, probably not the first word I'd use to describe myself, but appropriate from time to time I suppose)
4. What do you like in a romantic partner? Pump My Body, Lords of Acid (a little bit direct there, but well...)
5. How do you feel today? A Spoonful Weighs a Ton, The Flaming Lips (yeah, sometimes it does feel like that)
6. What is your life’s purpose? Valentine, Justice (I'll chose to take that to mean the pursuit of love and passion or something)
7. What is your motto? Away With the Faries, Inkubus Sukkubus (No, I'm pretty sure this is exactly NOT my motto)
8. What do you think about the most? Mainland, The Real McKenzies (pretty sure I think about other things more)
9. What are you going to do on your next vacation? Chemical Warfare, Dead Kennedys (I sure hope not)
10. What do you think of your first love/date? Bitter-Sweet, Velvet Goldmine (good memories from the past do have a way of being tinged with the bitter-sweet of nostalgia)
11. What is your life story? Tonight, Franz Ferdinand (there's a sort of poeticness here I can appreciate)
12. What did you do yesterday? Mordred's Lullaby, Heather Dale (got nothing here)
13. What do you think of when you see the person you like/love? Acid Air Raid [Euphoric Mix], Solar Quest (well, the mix is appropriate)
14. What describes your wedding? Ellipse of Flowers, Psychic TV (well, could be worse)
15. What will they play at your funeral? Heaven is an Orgasm, Lords of Acid (lol, somehow I doubt it, maybe I can request it now...)
16. What is your obsession? Nara, E.S. Posthumus (idk)
17. What is your biggest fear? Night of the Living Dead, The Misfits (well, it does rank up there)
18. What is your biggest secret? In the Morning of the Magicians, The Flaming Lips (we don't talk about that morning)
19. What is your biggest turn-on? Turn it On, Franz Ferdinand (umm, well, yes, I guess being turned on is a big turn on)
20. How do you describe your friends? Old Souls, Faith and the Muse (well at least it's a compliment, though I'd say my friends are more of a mix of young and old souls)
21. What would you do with a million dollars? Barroom Hero, Dropkick Murphy's (I could open a bar with a million dollars)
22. What is your opinion of sex? I Care Because You Do, Aphex Twin (no, I think I care all on my own, thank you)
23. What is your biggest regret? Bad Language, The Gits (of all the things I could regret, I'm quite sure that bad language is nowhere near the top of the list. Unless you interpret it as the failure to communicate, in that case yeah, that probably takes the cake)
24. What would you rather be doing right now? In Your World, Muse (I'll take it)
